Rev. Fr. Ranjith Madurawela
Rev. Fr. Ranjith Madurawela assumed duties as the parish priest of Christ King Church Pannipitiya since November 2021. Previously he served as the parish priest of St. Anthony’s Church, Nittabuwa and Queen of Angels Church, Rawatawaththa. He also held the position of Archdiocesan Director of Catholic Education and General Manager of Catholic private schools for 10 years. Following this, he assumed duties as the Parochial vicar at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in New York, USA, and served for 6 years. Upon returning from USA, he was appointed as the parish priest at Christ King Church, Pannipitiya.
Resident Priest
Rev. Fr. Mal Fernando
Rev. Fr. Mal Fernando took residence at the mission house of Pannipitiya parish after assuming duties as the Deputy Director of Education at the Religion and Values Branch of the Ministry of Education. He previously served as the principal of Pope Paul Sixth College, Katana and later as the principal of St. Anthony’s National School, Wattala. Following 10 years of service at the school, he was promoted to the post of Deputy Director of Education in the Ministry of Education, in recognition of his qualifications as an SLEAS officer. In his free time, he graciously dedicates himself to supporting and engaging in the activities of the Pannipitiya parish.
